A little perk of the job having Official Secrets Act come and support The Rakes at my club night yesterday. Not only have the band come on leaps and bounds since the last time i saw them (at Artrocker Festival last year) but i was impressed by a set that didn't include their soon to be re-released Girl From The BBC. It seemed their participation at the gig was in doubt after drummer Alexandra was in a pretty nasty road accident whist out on his bike, luckily the band pulled together and managed to make it to MK. A truly exciting young band who are really worth a moment of your time (there is some stuff on I Tunes now i believe) not only that but nice chaps to boot!
